We're getting quarterly filings today on the FEC website. Here are some Great Slate numbers: IA-4 J.D. Scholten: raised $620k, $1.05 million on hand (!) Randy Feenstra: raised $404K , $328K on hand

What this means in human language is this: three of our house races have over a million bucks in the bank four months from the election, which gives them a lot of strategic latitude. Two of our candidates are up against inexperienced challengers with little fundraising capacity.

The point of the exercise is that all four of those states have a highly competitive Senate race, and having the House candidate in the most competitive part of their statewide race adequately funded is going to make a difference in winning the Senate races.

In mid-2017, Cook published ratings for the four Great Slate districts, all of which our candidates are polling even or ahead in this summer: ME-02: Likely Republican (we flipped it in November 18) Alaska: Solid Republican CO-03: Solid Republican IA-04: Solid Republican

Our next challenge is fending off the corporate PAC money that will flood in for the Republicans in these races. Don Young has already received $110K, Randy Feenstra almost $200K in PAC money. So we're going to keep fundraising right back at themhttps://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …

Great numbers! I just donated again. There's a lot of reason to be optimistic in this cycle. Bush and Golden have very weak opponents who won't raise much. JD and Galvin are going to have tough fights, but this is the year.
