This is one reason we're fundraising for Senate races indirectly through the Great Slate. Rural House campaigns in those states are trying something more participatory than the Bloomberg/Senate strategy of throwing every dollar at online ads and television https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …https://twitter.com/CGothnerKCCI/status/1282882750148685824 …

I can guarantee you Theresa Greenfield has no plan to reach voters in Storm Lake, and I will be surprised if she even campaigns west of Des Moines. But there are votes waiting for her there! And
@JDScholten in IA-4 is the person doing the work to reach them.Show this thread -
The same is true in northern Maine. Sara Gideon will try to turn out every suburban and exurban voter in the fancy part of Maine where they listen to NPR and drive Subarus. But Jared Golden has to win reelection in ME-2, the harder district, where the Senate race will be decided.

I mean this as no slam against the DSCC or our prospective Senators. If I knew how to win a Senate campaign, I'd be tweeting about it from the Senate. My argument is that there's a complementary strategy to win these races that can't hurt: back rural demshttps://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …
