On at least two occasions I'm aware of last fall, Google took down a user-generated shared Google map of protester-friendly businesses in Hong Kong. Was this done preemptively, or at Hong Kong authorities' request? If the latter, what other requests did Google comply with?

Well hang on here. Up until now, haven’t we assumed that the judiciary was independent and thus able to create and serve warrants under due process? In which case that’s ok? Or are you suggesting the judiciary was already compromised or due process wasn’t being followed?
