The significant finding is that this is the primary way the disease spreads. Japan never had widespread testing either, but it seems they had the correct model of the disease. It's good news for the rest of us if it holds up.

Japan didn’t need widespread testing because they had a small initial outbreak, which they controlled. We’re far past that now.
