I've been publicly wondering for a while why the spread of the pandemic is so uneven. Yes I think location logs on device for two weeks (add’l opt in) is a reasonable compromise. This data already exists, it’s just used for ‘where did you park your car’ and ads.

Even if it is in some kind of jail that only allows local inspection from contact tracers... it is crazy not to allow it at all.
