I have been consistently opposed to contact tracing apps, which I think are a terrible idea. My stance from the beginning was that we should be sharing data already collected with public health authorities. Please don't mischaracterize my position.

An asymptomatic case in Victoria was traced and tested today thanks to the app we have here in Australia. No idea if it’s a game changer but the benefit is provably greater than zero.
