It’s a dumb thing to say but the guy who works at my Indian takeout place told me the same thing about his country (Bangladesh) and my Romanian family says the same thing about Romania. I think they’re wrong but I can’t call them bigoted

Unfair to accuse someone of deep bigotry for suggesting difference in record keeping resources. Unfortunately, it’s hard to compile death stats from anecdotes or social media.
