The question the US government will ask (with whatever data they can get) is "Who is this sick person, how can we deny them care, and how many undocumented people can we find in their contacts?"

The US government is not a monolithic entity, and you can limit this data to a specific agency. You can also do it at the state level, if you think the Federal government can't possibly be trusted.
