Sweden is an object lesson to everyone about the right and wrong ways to handle the pandemic. The problem is, it's not at all clear which, and it's fun to watch journalists hedge their bets.

This is probably just my confirmation bias, but IMO Sweden shows how even in the absence of stay-at-home orders, lots of people will choose to isolate anyway. So reopening may be less of a public health disaster than predicted, and also won't fix the economy.

Agree that this is the voice of confirmation bias. It is very easy to tell a story to fit any pattern of facts
