Alone, neither solar/wind, which mostly have the same problems and cost the same thing (land), nor nuclear, offer enough energy to realistically replace coal and gas, not even enough to get people to downgrade off of current energy spend. Coal costs endless money x1000.

Also the firms will go out of business but they will be profitable a bit later so just means you are gonna get consolidations as buyers who have been waiting to make acquisitions pounce, it's not like they are going away forever
