That's garbage. Journalists have been deemed essential - we can do our jobs just fine. Go to work, wherever we need to go. You're spreading outright lies - that's why NZ is a bit annoyed.

Perhaps he's assuming that the lack of sports news is because all the sports journalists have been rounded up and imprisoned for crimes against metaphor. And anyone reporting on that is rounded up, which is why no-one has reported on the secret Auckland Island re-education camps
