Living in HK as I do now, I am whole heartedly behind that!! But the UK has a (medical/surgical) mask shortage, nor a culture of it (and likely an ignorance to it too.) Now if the queen did her speech with a mask on... then the country may listen!

I wore an FFP3 mask I’d had for a while to the supermarket in UK a few days ago, the cashier made a point of telling me “a mask WON’T stop you from getting it”. Seemed such an ignorant and inappropriate thing to say to a customer. It annoyed me more than it probably should have.

For the record, my family back in the UK have had supplies of surgical masks for months now. I just wish the rest of the country did / would do the same...
