but only for infected and then only for the last week or so. So you could locally store location history and turn it over, when infected. No need to track everyone all the time.

You could even make it only record your location when it sees other beacons nearby. No need to record my location when I go for a run all by myself in the forrest (assuming I'm literally meeting no one).
