Kiwi friends, the plan in New Zealand is clearly "shut down completely" and it seems to be working. But what is the plan after that? Has there been discussion about it?

In seriousness, though, I'm trying to understand the NZ strategy since it's a small isolated country and eradication, given extreme measures, just might be possible.

I wonder if the disease can be eliminated entirely at least on the South Island; maybe even everywhere outside of Auckland. I wish New Zealanders the best of luck. I think if any country can pull it off, they can.
