I've seen this 'Hammer and Dance' diagram a lot, so I am taking the liberty of marking the point where people are going to start ignoring advice to stay socially distant, and render the rest of the diagram moot.pic.twitter.com/U4RzggSCYh

I don't have a problem with the strategy, I just want it to take human behavior into account more
Probably right, but something like that *is* most likely what governments are thinking for a long term plan. The authorities are just trying to figure out how to broach “2/3 of the time” with people. https://www.imperial.ac.uk/media/imperial-college/medicine/sph/ide/gida-fellowships/Imperial-College-COVID19-NPI-modelling-16-03-2020.pdf …pic.twitter.com/kL9IhVH9Jh
There will be speakeasies and secret underground daycares before very long
Just as some factories in China were still working during quarantine.
That is why we need anti-body tests available before vaccination is here. Those who have had the infection, can work etc. Those who don't have high titre, know that they need to be careful. Personal responsibility
1/ The other problem is time frame. Everything we know about this virus is two weeks old. The incubation period is 5-7 days before symptoms. Five more days before symptoms are serious enough to be tested. (and some ppl never get tested).
2/ Some people have been sick as long as four or five weeks and continue to shed live virus for another week, which can then live on hard surfaces for 3-5 days. So eight weeks of perfect quarantine minimum. People won't do that. Expect two or three waves of this.
