Last weekend was a gorgeous spring weekend across Japan and by all reports people were out in numbers, made complacent by the very low official infection figures. I'm worried about what this means for the week to come.

It was not merely leaked: it was leaked, on live television, by the governor of Osaka, who when asked by the newscaster whether sharing a confidential government document on air was appropriate said, and I quote, 公開するべきだと思います: "I believe this should be public."
