That’s a rare side effect & only in long term use AFAIK. I take this medicine & see an eye doctor regularly to check but I’ve been on it a decade & no dissolving here.

The right amount to take is relatively close to a dangerously toxic amount to take, if I understand correctly, and that's above and beyond the various other potential side effects that need to be screened for and avoided. Not a doctor either, but nobody should take it would one.
