We are having municipal elections today in every cities in France, during lockdown. Measures have been taken, let’s see how it goes. But we don’t expect a lot of people showing up

One of the things that I worry about is that because in-person voting relies on a substantial temporary workforce, there may not be enough people available/willing to keep precincts open even if we can develop good sanitary protocols. A lot of people are thinking about this.

Spitballing here, but what about appointments to vote, like at the Apple Store? In and out quicker, distance can be maintained. Drive through voting, for those with cars?
