Young voters could have had Bernie this year (or in 2016) just by voting at the same rate as fifty-year-olds, and why they chose not to do it is a persistent political mystery. They turn out in enormous numbers to the rallies, but don't vote, even when voting is made very easy

I do think that young voters do legitimately turn out less, but vote by mail isn't a perfect solution that overcomes that young voters addresses are less consistent, they have a harder time receiving the ballot in the mail, and have a harder time proving their address.

DCCCs aren't conspiring to create strange new ways of suppressing votes in order to win, but when there's a small problem that prevents people from voting, and it doesn't affect the people who vote for you, it isn't a high priority to be solved.

If some of these people 'reached' as much to turn out the vote as they do to turn out conspiracy theories, they could change the world
