I have a gut feeling that nearly all political science is going to end up with a reproducibility crisis greater than even the social sciences. The most clever political scientists will escape this trap by not having any reproducible research at all.

To an outsider, the field looks like it's based on an inverted pyramid of analysis and review papers covering about six field experiments.
