South Carolina is the fourth state in a row where Bernie Sanders failed to bring out the large, multiracial, multigenerational coalition of the working class that is supposed to guarantee him victory over Donald Trump

The most genuinely socialist thing about the Sanders movement is that working people, given a free choice, don't want to vote for it

I get the sentiment but I don’t really see this in the polling. people...seem to be voting for Bernie Sanders in primaries?

People are voting for him, but keep in mind you’re talking about a thin plurality in a few poorly representative democratic primaries.

The thing I harp on is the distance between rhetoric—record numbers of new, young, and low-propensity voters—and the reality, which is a fairly typical democratic primary turnout with Bernie doing well. The huge numbers come to his rallies, but don't come out to vote. It's odd.
