I did security training for about 40 Congressional campaigns in 2018, learned a lot about what is achievable in the campaign context, and would be delighted to work with any campaign in 2020 that is serious about campaign security. But I do not think such campaigns exist.

Google's data show that for non-targeted attacks *even SMS 2FA* reduces phishing effectivness by 96%, and targeted attacks by 76%. Use a better second-factor and you zap >90% of targeted attacks. Do you not think they may have migrated to Signal with influx of younger users? Clinton campaign used it all the time. (We know it was a personal not campaign email that was hacked.)

This is a moving target. At the time, Chrome was markedly more secure than Firefox in part due to architectural decisions made designing the browser. I defer to the opinion of
