I have an honest question for my pro-Bernie followers, to help my understanding. Assuming a bare Senate majority (50-50) and control of the House, what would be the practical difference between having a President Klobuchar or Biden and a President Sanders in office in 2021?
We came very close to having a public option! While neither may be passable, I contend that a public option is significantly easier to get through Congress than single payer.

I strongly agree! I just think both will be very difficult and we need someone who can mobilize a mass movement to get either passed.

It's complicated because of the Blue Dogs who were up for election in red states in 2010, but I wonder what would have happened if Obama pushed for public option or nothing, and made "get public option passed" the center of his 2010 campaign. It polled way better than Obamacare
