I have an honest question for my pro-Bernie followers, to help my understanding. Assuming a bare Senate majority (50-50) and control of the House, what would be the practical difference between having a President Klobuchar or Biden and a President Sanders in office in 2021?

I personally expect him to fight hard against all the ways the right keeps control of the system. That involves fighting senate races on a left populist basis, tackling Citizens United and a public bank for election finance, or at the very least spending limits

So what would he do during the first two years in that hypothesis? Fight for the GND and M4A. But I expect it to be like steering an oil tanker, a slow process involving steady application of force. Using, among other things, local organizing.

One important thing to do, the Senate must do, and that is break the filibuster. Without that, 50 Senators + the VP can pass anything.
