Legal twitter, what consequences face the women who signed NDAs with Bloomberg if they were to violate them? Is this a question of fines (solvable with fundraising), or more serious legal jeopardy?
That's what I'm curious about, since there is clearly ample fundraising power and interest out there to help such a person rebuild her life

It would be much cheaper to get these women a lawyer who can reach a settlement Which, yes, would include a further NDA
-
Like if there was no question that they breached the NDA, then unless there’s some other defence out there they can hang their hat on this is a summary judgment kind of matter and you don’t want those when you’re the losing party

Bloomberg can just set and forget his lawyers on this. For the woman it would be devastating - being sued, having a court case, going bankrupt, getting out of bankruptcy and all the BS that goes along with all of that isn't really compensable.

Yeah it doesn’t matter if she has a fairy godmother paying her lawyer, her life is over. She’d also probably have to pay Bloomberg his costs on losing, which is further
For Bloomberg though, settling would mean being able to impose an even worse NDA in the release. Tempting!
