if I held an artistic event that promised to be about '2000 years of Western culture' and it turned out to be entirely Christian propaganda, with no mention of the Christianity on the flyers or the posters, you'd feel it was fairly deceptive, no?

a college friend was equally into black metal *and* Christian black metal (he became a vicar) and one of our pastimes was to rifle through his CDs, read out the song titles, and have people guess which side they were on.

I like that. I have an analogous "bored while driving" game where I tune in a call-in radio show at random and see how long I can go without being able to tell if the topic is sports or politics.
