The sentiment of this clip is similar to "the trains in Nazi Germany ran on schedule." What bothers me every time this clip comes up in my feed, is that there's no response from a Bernie supporter showing a clip or an article where Bernie would clarify his view on Soviet Union.

I was in Moscow in 1999. The metro was great, the Pushkin museum was fantastic. At the time, I felt I could tell people about these things without anyone mistaking my praise for an advocation for the Russian government.

Not a very radical thought: making Twitter rational is a Sisyphean task and doesn’t actually affect outcome in real world politics. Sadly however it does appear to have huge mental health repercussions.
