Yes, that's true. But I also think not dispositive in terms of political impact that could shift the polls. All that said, if you go strictly on the basis of the head to heads he's a strong candidate against Trump. Simply no way to get around that.

The head-to-heads are not a useful measure unless both candidates are already well-known to the public. You want a sense of how October Bernie (or Buttigieg, etc) would do, not how people who have vaguely heard of them feel about them playing the role of generic Democrat
