I don't understand why it's become a mark of sophistication to argue "actually, Trump is very weak", but I will just point out that you will not hear any Democrat who needs to win in a closely-contested Trump district making this argument.

A large fraction of the U.S. electorate is very fond of President Trump and his record, and we can't wish them away, or pretend that he hasn't done anything he promised to do, or that he has somehow bamboozled people into liking him because they are not as smart as we are.

I got toward the end of Chris's tweet and had the same thought. He is dangerous to the rule of law, therefore seeing this amount of support is staggeringly frightening. This makes me sad and scared.
