The Michael Bennett event was too packed(!), so I'm here to see Tulsi Gabbard at the Elks lodge in Rochester. There is a parking spot reserved for "exalted ruler". Soon, soon.pic.twitter.com/VILB7Wo3Yq

Also, you should automatically go to any political event hosted at an Elks lodge. What a weird piece of Americanapic.twitter.com/nc7ygknwUT
I think of Gabbard as I did of the Tea Party—she's hit a rich vein of political ore that will become significant later, even if she's not the one who ends up exploiting it. Very disorienting and bizarre event that I have to chew on.
I should stress that I go to events because I'm interested in the audience, not so much the speaker. I know everyone has strong opinions for or against candidates; I want to know what the cleavage planes are in the electorate. Heh. Cleavage.
