Rather than agonize over exactly what rationale Republican senators have for dismissing the case against Trump, let's just put a new Senate in there! If you have some money to spare, you can help rural get out the vote efforts in four contested states:https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …

Why fund these races when the goal is a Senate majority? 1) Senate campaigns will rapidly saturate with money 2) Rural House candidates run in the hardest parts of the state 3) They can run on more local, cross-ideological pocketbook issues 4) They have infrastructure in place

I gave a shit ton of money too. Unlike every other progressive group who tried to win red seats, we actually got a guy into Congress, and we nearly knocked out Steve King! But I was wrong about a lot. This year, my promise is that we will be wrong in new ways, or maybe even right

We raised five million bucks for long-shot Congressional races, won one seat, and helped a gifted novice Democrat move *Iowa 4* by twenty points, to within 3 points of victory. Anyone who gave to the Great Slate in 2018 can feel proud about that record, and what they helped do.

GS 1 was worth it just for the buzz that it created that got previously disengaged people involved, motivated, and educated. Its results can’t just be measured in seats won.

Here: https://secure.actblue.com/donate/great_slate …. All four are active, veteran Congressional campaigns in contested Senate states. Every dollar we can raise means less time on the phone fundraising, more time campaigning.
