That's the polar opposite of how I feel. The doodad empowers users against the tech oligopoly, all of whom want to be the managers of identity.

There's a big security advantage. If I can show you a fake prompt and get you to type in password and authenticator code, I can log in to your account (before the code expires). That attack doesn't work for security keys, which operate on the actual URL the browser is at.

I like having people keep the key on their key ring, since they're used to keeping track of that. Important to remember that stealing a key doesn't give any access to the account without the password. Glad you're considering this for your business!
