When you set up two-factor, think about the scenario where you lose your phone, keys, wallet/purse and laptop together. Agree, but one's trusted party can change, unfortunately. I think it's just important to realize how domestic abuse has "innovated" as well, and that victims are often traced by their abused nowadays. The security codes don't work without passwords, which is one great thing about them. You can leave them with a "sort of trusted" party like an office manager or partner, who doesn't have access to your passwords.
