I see this as a structural fact more than anything. In a society with great wealth inequality, resources cluster at the top. Activists grant the rich absolution, the rich grant them a very comfortable sinecure fighting the power. Humanity's power of rationalization is boundless

Why would you target so many different people and experiences that take pride in being active at a time of widespread inequality? I know lots of activists that wouldn’t touch Davos even with a foot long stick. Generalising like this is BS and a disservice to democracy.
