Amendments can be repealed the same way they were passed; I don't understand your argument. Large parts of the constitution have been changed by that process. A government with absolute control of guns, tanks, fighter jets etc. works just fine.

This was exactly once. This amendment banned alcohol just as much as you want to ban guns. If guns are banned it will lead to a similar situation to alcohol trafficking back then. People will still find the way to buy guns and use them and it won’t be traceable. 1/2

The black market of guns will be owned by government and military officials, just how it is in every country that bans guns.
