I know it’s tongue-in-cheek, but the 0% APR “6-month-interest-free” transfers include a one-time fee of 4-8% right away, despite ALL-CAPS wording stating no fees at all. I only tweet this into the void because I think a lot of people fall prey to this.
Real 0% APR for balance transfers only exist for new customers. Every US credit card offer has to include a table disclosing all the bits that they used to hide in small print. In the industry it's know as the Schumer box and it is the first part of the offer you should read.
