Sorry, it's a book reference (https://www.amazon.com/Organizations-at-War-Afghanistan-Beyond/dp/0801475783 …). Totally different context (Afghanistan civil war in the 90s) but I think it's still broadly applicable as a framework for understanding a lot of organizational and political competition dynamics generally.
