I feel strongly that the Women's March, the way it was covered, and the way it collapsed have some important clue for our politics, but I'm not smart enough to understand what. I feel like we also should have focused tech resistance on more remedial “How to get together some stakeholders to drive a stake through a feature that threatens people’s privacy” discussions. [1/2]

And less “welcome to fundraising hour” things which are important but let’s tech people off the hook re: their day jobs and primary responsibilities. Don’t get me wrong, tech people should be throwing their money to people too, but we also have a primary responsibility. [2/2]
