Yes, the one & only session of Lam’s much-trumpeted ‘community dialogue’, w a randomly chosen group designed specifically to avoid meeting any representative of any group involved in the protests. Imagine if govt had ever made a good faith effort to do so....

But one problem of a leaderless protest is how you could put anyone forward as a legitimate representative. It surprised me that the HK government was always too insecure to throw this hot potato in the lap of the protesters. Another case where I'm a frustrated backseat oppressor
