Corbyn and McGovern teach an important lesson: never, ever democratize your political party to where unelected members have veto power over actual politicians. Save the democracy for the general election.
Some method where elected MPs have more say over who their leader is than party activists, or at least the power to remove bad leadership

That’s not unreasonable although you have to balance broader party with the elected members and in Labour you also have the trade unions etc. There is already this split (PLP vs the rest) but the NEC has sway over all iirc.
