There's just something unreal about HK cold though - everything's set up for a hot and humid climate, and when the temp drops it feels like you'll never be warm again.

I struggle with a broken heater in San Francisco, which gets similar temperatures, so i'm not even really making fun. That maritime cold air gets right in your bones. Part of the culture shock is seeing the city be so functional, and reach out towards the vulnerable
