I want to read a version of 1984 written from Julia's point of view. Competent resistance fighter with a promising career ahead of her gets into a toxic relationship with a middle aged sad-sack with horrible operational security. Hopefully she goes on to a successful Party career

It'd be an interesting idea for a reboot, but since the story is narated in the third person and since the narator freely mentions where Winston is wrong or has memory lapses, such as in his belief that Parsons will never be vaporised and his recollections of the rise of BB,

can the narative really be said to be unreliable? Plus, where's the textual basis for the high probability that Julia is such a good agent? She approaches him with the risky note. If he's such a loser and she's so competent, why would she do that?

She happily follows him to O'brian, at which point her faight is sealed. She's the one who puts her relationship with Winston above the mission in front of someone she must believe is a fellow resistance fighter of senior rank by saying she doesn't want them separated.
