I wish the people saying I’m unqualified and reckless would give me the benefit of the doubt and consider the possibility that I know exactly what I’m doing and am simply malicious and evil.

AFAIK Blaze is an expert cryptologist, but isn’t an expert in election auditing, human-factor studies, or public policy.

The issue of Matt Blaze is that he IS a respected cryptologist, who agrees that ballot marking devices are unreliable, yet he seems to dismiss those inaccuracies as a key problem in reference to accurate vote counts in 2020. Why would he do that?
-
Vote counts haven’t been statistically demonstrated to have significantly differed from polling and prior vote results. Malice claimant require better evidence, like cheat source codes.

Questioning credentials is bad? No. "Expertise" doesn't work this way. Especially in a *broad* area such as "election security." It's proper to examine if the "expert" in fact has deep understanding of all key aspects, particularly those aspects which may prove conclusions wrong.

When were
@jennycohn1 and@philipbstark kicked out of the universe? They make a number of good points about the grave dangers of BMDs that Blaze and acolytes shouldn’t be blowing off.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
