I am sympathetic to his point, but the guy spent $21M in the last quarter, which I'm guessing he doesn't consider disgusting. The trouble is that when campaigns routinely run for 18 months or more, fundraising and spending *are* the political process.

Whatever you think of him, seems undeniable that Sanders has a lot of grassroots support, and I think it's mostly built off of small donors.

It's absolutely true, but the grassroots support itself requires money to build. I am sure Bloomberg wants it too.
