These are just some of the climate denialists Google continues to give political money to. Workers at Microsoft already showed they have the power to shut down political giving that is so manifestly at odds with stated company values. Googlers have a chance here to do the same.
Political donations are a good organizing target because: 1. They come with a list of employee donors you can petition 2. They are indefensible except on cynical grounds 3. Large tech companies do fine without them (IBM, Apple) 4. They are hard to hide due to FEC reporting laws
