Tomorrow will mark two months since the police attacks in the Prince Edward metro station (which led to ineradicable rumors that people had been killed inside). There is a pre-emptive lockdown on the station and at the main transfer station for the MTR on top of the normal curfewhttps://twitter.com/VerbatimHKG/status/1189678010896486400 …

Prince Edward has been a flash point of the protests ever since 8/31. There is a police station immediately on top of the station, and sight lines from it are blocked by MTR entrances and an elevated highway, making the police very jumpy. It's also at a major busy intersection

It is especially dangerous when police fire tear gas without closing the elevated road to traffic, exposing drivers to a cloud of it without warning. I hope people stay safe tomorrow at Prince Edward and everywhere else in Hong Kong
