Issues of hazard aside, Gabbard was not defending this country, but participating in an American war of choice that Sanders himself opposed. It's disappointing to see him buying into the vainglorification of our military.

I agree. Gabbard had a choice about whether to deploy, which is why I think she in particular should be held accountable for that choice.
