I see impeachment in our era like a Notre Dame vs. USC game. People come in already supporting a side. If USC cheats flagranty, their fans won't rip off their jerseys and switch sides in disgust. They'll find a way to celebrate it. And there are no refs for anyone to appeal to.

committed supporters are beyond reach, yes. but not all among that 41.6% are such. from these at least 5-7% are persuadable. If his support drops to about 35% he is toast and GOP is toast in 2020 with him if they stick by him.
