Back in August, when protests were still getting approval, an estimated two million people marched (in a city of 7M) on a night without a single violent incident or use of tear gas. The Hong Kong government knows it can't let that happen again. They want fire, vandalism and drama

In a survey, over half of Hong Kongers put their trust of police at "0" on a scale of 0-10. The government's approval rating is below 20%. We are in week 19 of citywide protests and not a single government or police official has resigned. This is why HK needs free elections
