One obvious clue: why is MTR bus service shut down along with train service? Why not run extra shuttles like in any other closure scenario?

I realize I'm getting boring and repetitive, but is no one going to write about the de facto curfew in Hong Kong that is almost a week old?

Or the fact that at least two major intersections in the center city have been left without working traffic lights or traffic police for that time?

Soft curfew in Hong Kong continues tonight (Friday), with a full MTR system closure at 10 PM. As usual, this includes all bus service even though the pretext is damage to stations. The MTR status page was normal this morning, but the decision came sometime before early afternoon
